As part of your administration tasks, we would like you to help oversee the Carer Support Coordinators and administrators who work alongside the team responsible for discharging patients from the local hospital.

You will be required to oversee the day-to-day management of the Carer Support Coordinator and administrator who are part of the hospital team.
Your focus will be providing a first-class service for the Carers. In this role you will be require to develop strong relationships with staff and team members employed by the Hospital working in the patient discharge team.

This will suit you if you have experience of managing, supporting and motivating a small team. You will take care of the inductions, appraisals and regular reviews and make a contribution to the quality of service while making improvements, whilst working to targets.

As you would expect you will have to rely on your personality, your ability to communicate & connect interpersonal and written skills.
Experience of the health and social care sector in a hospital setting is not essential for this role, but experience of managing a team will be.

So what experience do you need:

- first class admin skills

- experience of providing services to people with special needs and/or Carers

- dealing with confidential & sensitive matters

- working with policies & procedures

- using Microsoft Office programmes & database systems

- providing information to enable people to make informed decisions
