Are you an experience administrator looking for an exciting and rewarding admin role?

This sort of role that doesn't come around too often. It will be a fascinating and stimulating role for the right person. We are looking for a Technical Learning Administrator for a 12-month contract to work with a well-established professional membership organisation dedicated to the advancement of science and medicine.

Their members all have a medical backgrounds based in hospitals, universities and laboratories in the UK and around The World. Their international reputation is renowned which make this a notable organisation to be affiliated with.
The institution's main aim is to set and maintain training standards for doctors and scientists, to advise and ensure the membership is kept up to date with current practice through the continuing professional development scheme, and to promote the latest developments by holding scientific meetings.
They have developed an innovative and adaptive learning platform to support trainees and practising medical professional in digital learning. Using the cutting edge technology to enhance learning, the platform has the ability to facilitate innovative, ground-breaking approaches to learning.
As the Technical Learning Administrator, you will source suitable images, media or graphics to support the content. You will write, edit and publish content directly into the platform and align with social media, where appropriate. You will make decisions about structure, layout and navigation to ensure content works digitally and follows current best practices.

Main Purpose
You will not need scientific experience for this role. The process of gathering, reviewing and uploading learning materials to the portal will be managed by the Editorial Board which is made up of a wide range of healthcare professionals.
As the Technical Learning Administrator you will support the Editorial Board and will be responsible for acting as a focal point for members wishing to contribute content, ensuring copyright and that the learning materials are successfully uploaded to the portal.
You will also provide technical assistance and quality control where needed. And you will be review and edit submitted materials, in particular video content, as well as assist contributors with any technical issues and queries regarding the Portal and the submission process.

Knowledge/ Qualifications/ Experience
Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification through experience.

- using video editing software and producing high quality visual materials (training provided)

- adhering to editorial and technical style guides (training provided)

- proof reading, editing and document formatting

- providing customer service or member support

- producing and maintaining accurate records

- using Content Management System

- working on an e-learning, education or IT project

- working in a medical education environment, healthcare or not for profit

- communicating or providing guidance to teams and senior stakeholders on administration matters

- administration and serving committees or boards including setting

- agendas, minute writing and supporting chairs
