Training, Learning and Development Officer
Job description
A social-welfare membership organisation is seeking a Training, Learning and Development Officer. The successful candidate will need to develop and implement the training, learning and development work within the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Identifying training, learning and development opportunities or needs
- Developing training, learning and development packages, including e-learning modules,guidance documents and workbooks
- Implementing new Learning Management System
- Working with the Training, Learning and Development Committee (TLDC) to design and deliver its programme of work
- Assist in the training and development of committee members
- Agree and implement the TLDC's working practice
- Provide support to members and develop programmes to increase their expertise
- Draft high-quality information to ensure members and other interested parties are always up to date
- Assist in responding to members' queries and providing up to date information for members on training issues
Person specification
- Training qualification (Level 3 or above and/or equivalent professional trainingexperience)
- The ability to develop a variety of online training resources
- Experience of project management
- Experience of drafting, demonstrating the ability to assimilate and understand complex
- information quickly and explain complex issues clearly
- The ability to communicate effectively, diplomatically, and persuasively with a wide range of people
- The ability to establish personal credibility with a range of stakeholders
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- A creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving and the ability to provide sound reasons to support proposed solutions
- The ability to organise and prioritise your own workload and strong attention to detail
