Trust & Foundations Assistant

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for an Interim Trust & Foundations Assistant a national charity based in Derby. This will be a 6 months contract.
The start date: ASAP.

Key Responsibilities will include:

To provide excellent administrative support for the management of donations and enquires relating to Trusts & Foundations and statutory funders.
To keep the charity team updated on new funding opportunities for each area of operation throughout the charity schemes
Liaise with the Trust & Foundations manager, teams and Impact & Development team by prospecting suitable funders for delivery of a range of projects
To respond and signpost enquiries from Trust & Foundation supporters, liaising with all relevant internal stakeholders
To proof read applications and recommend changes where appropriate.
To record all enquiries and donations on Raiser s Edge. Carry out prospect searches and record and undertake searches and queries for relevant/future support.
Send out applications to funders and prompt acknowledgement of donations and process thank you letters.
Provide full telephone support for enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
Work with the Income Processing Team to record & process grant income on Raisers Edge and attach relevant documents
To attend regular team meetings and 1:1 meetings with line manager

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Essential: Previous experience of administering a database for fundraising activities

Desirable: Experience of working with Raiser s Edge
