Trust & Statutory Assistant

Job description

I am currently looking for a Trust and Statutory Assistant for a large mental health charity. You will assist in maximising support from fundraising streams, supporting team members researching prospective funders, coordinating mailings and thanking donors, as well as providing finance, database and event support.

Main duties:
Support the solicitation of small grants by co-ordinating mailings, drafting inspiring introduction letters and ensuring all donations are thanked appropriately.
Research prospective funders using a wide range of research mechanisms.
Produce research profiles of medium-big Trusts & Foundations for team members.
Monitor new developments and funding opportunities within the Trust & Statutory sector, e.g. via newsletters, websites, databases, Twitter, and update team members promptly.
Event support.
Work with Supporter Care, Income Operations, Data and Finance teams to ensure that all donations are processed accurately.
Support the monthly reconciliation of income for the Trust & Statutory team.
Ensure the CRM database has accurate and up to date records which adhere to GDPR and produce reports for Managers.
Provide general administrative support to the Trust & Statutory team, be responsible for organising and servicing meetings, including coordinating diaries, booking rooms and IT/skype set up, writing agendas and minutes.
