Trusts and Foundations Manager

6 Month Contract

The Trusts and Foundations Manager will be a key member of the dynamic and multi-skilled Fundraising team, with responsibilities primarily focused on growing our Trust and Foundations relationships

Your new role

The Trust and Foundations Manager is responsible for identifying and research all grant making bodies and foundations which have potential to make a range of donations to the organisation. You be writing and delivering engaging and persuasive proposals for funding and managing applications covering a wide range of grant amounts, both local and national funders and both restricted and unrestricted grants. You will also ensure that all reporting requirements are met, and reports submitted according to agreed schedules.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful you will need a passion for the charity sector with solid experience in Trust applications, prospect researching and the ability to tell a powerful story. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential, as is attention to detail and an enthusiasm for prospect researching. You will also need to the ability of organising a demanding and varied workload and be able to build and maintain constructive collaborative relationships with internal and external contacts.

What you’ll get in return

This organisation offers significant flexibility with majority home working, an annual salary of £36,000 with potential for the role to be made permanent.
