Trusts and Major Gifts Fundraising Manager
Job description
Role: Trusts and Major Gifts Manager
Organisation: Conservation Charity
Location: Battersea, London
Salary: up to £33kpa
Contract: Full-time, perm (3 days p/w may also be considered)
A really exciting opportunity has opened up at a fantastic little charity, with international reach. Alarmingly, in the UK, almost two-thirds of species have declined in the last 50 years. Globally, around a quarter of mammals face extinction in the next three decades. For over 40 years our client has been helping to protect endangered species across the UK and worldwide.
Our client is searching for a Trusts and Major Gifts Fundraising Manager to take the lead on these areas, working closely with the Chief Exec to develop suitable fundraising projects. This is a very interesting position with tonnes of flexibility - the successful candidate could work 3 days a week or full-time.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must have an aptitude for writing successful trust and foundation applications and the ability to grow larger gifts from individual philanthropists. You need to be keen to research funding options and to work with colleagues to develop compelling proposals, sometimes from established programmes, sometimes new projects.
