A leading Children's Charity is seeking a Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement Officer to assist in expanding the supporter-led fundraising programme and drive engagement with the public.
This is a new, exciting role that will require energy and enthusiasm. Can you positively engage with and inspire people in the south west and ultimately win their support? If so, you will have a chance to help establish a volunteering programme that will have a huge impact on the region and the cause. This will include; creating and implementing local volunteer engagement strategies; ensuring volunteering recruitment and engagement activity builds long term; and ultimately being a visible advocate for the charity, it's values and mission.

Essential experience:
Experience of working in recruitment, marketing or fundraising for a Charity or Non-Profit organisation.
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide variety of people.
Ability to deliver on marketing strategies and campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with proven ability to communicate confidently to external audiences.
Have a strong interest in the work of the voluntary sector and have some experience of working with supporters/volunteers
Strong project management skills with the ability to organise and plan own work and that of others and deliver objectives on time.
Ability to work on own initiative and balance objectives and priorities
