Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis

Current opportunities
As a young, energetic and ambitious charity, we support people affected by pulmonary fibrosis and invest in research to find a cure. Do you have the passion and skills we need? We’d love to hear from you.
To help us achieve our goals, we're currently growing our team and recruiting for the following key positions:
Head of Support Services
Band 5: £50,000 - £59,000 per annum
Full time 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid: usually one day per week in APF’s Peterborough office, plus regular travel for team meetings, external engagement and APF events as required.
The Head of Support Services will provide strategic and operational leadership for APF’s patient-facing support services, including the Support Line, Support Networks and strategic volunteering activity.
A key priority will be to lead significant service development across APF’s support offer. This includes revising the Support Group Network, drawing on team learning, survey insight, focus group findings and lived experience to develop a sustainable new offer, and working with the Support Line team to develop a new delivery model that expands access to specialist support.
Senior Education and Events Officer
Band 2B (Executive): £31,000–£34,500 per annum
Hybrid: with attendance at the charity’s Peterborough office for team meetings, collaboration and other key activities, typically on a quarterly basis, alongside travel to meetings, events and partner sites as required. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events, with time off in lieu.
If you'd like to discuss one of these roles before making an application, please contact Lizzy Clark at Harris Hill on 020 7820 7333 or email Lizzy.
