An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world-leading organisation who focus exclusively on public engagement with climate change.

Climate Outreach exist because climate change doesn't communicate itself, even with the increasing number of climate impacts. They help people understand this complex issue in ways that resonate with their sense of identity, values and worldview. Informed consent and support from people across society and around the world creates what they call a social mandate for climate action - and they believe it's how real change happens.

Climate Outreach focus on work that has impact - climate change is too important and urgent an issue to do anything else. They are proud of the difference they have already made and continue to make in engaging the public with climate change to create a social mandate for climate action.

Climate Outreach are looking for a Campaign Lead to join the team on a fixed term contract.

Climate Outreach - Climate Engagement Initiative (CEI) Campaign Lead

Location: Home-working (with regular visits to Oxford/London) or Oxford, UK.

Salary: £32,336 - £35,959 per annum plus enhanced benefits

Contract: Fixed Term (36 Months)

As Campaign Lead you will be an enthusiastic, committed individual with good working knowledge of the international policy space to lead a global public engagement initiative aimed at transforming the way governments engage their citizens with climate change.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has experience in a leadership role of a strategic campaign involving multiple stakeholders. You will have demonstrable experience in preparing and delivering high-quality presentations to key influencers, decision makers and advocacy leaders. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to build upon their already strong networking, organisational and policy campaign building skills.
