Challenge Events Fundraising Manager

Job description

We are pleased to be working with a brilliant health charity who are looking for a Challenge Events Fundraising Manager to look after their portfolio of events and income targets. You will also be managing a buzzing, growing team during a recent time of growth.

Responsibilities include:

- Work alongside Head of Community and Events Fundraising to deliver the Events Fundraising strategy, reviewing the portfolio and developing when needed to maintain support and growth
- Manage the Challenge Events team developing individuals and supporting them
- Set the Challenge Events budget with the Head of Community and Events, oversee the budget and work to KPIs
- Regularly review supporter journeys for challenge events participants, ensuring participants are appreciated and influenced to continue to support the charity
- Ensure the challenge event programme is promoted, looking at the best methods of recruitment and communications. As well as monitoring and reviewing event materials
- Ensure processes are documented, functioning effectively and subject to review and improvement

Experience needed:

- Substantial experience of challenge event fundraising and relationship equivalent in charity
- Experience of planning and delivering projects
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Experience of setting and delivering income budgets and working to these targets
- Experience of line management
- Experience of using databases (ideally Raiser's Edge)
