Citizens Advice Richmond is an independent local charity providing information and advice to anyone who lives, works or studies in the London borough of Richmond upon Thames. Our service is free, confidential and impartial. We empower people to resolve their problems and change their lives for the better.

Citizens Advice Richmond is recruiting a new Chief Executive to lead the organisation at a crucial time, as we move out of pandemic restrictions and decide how we want to deliver our services in the future. You will have overall responsibility for managing a team of 21 paid staff and around 70 volunteers. You will be the external face of the organisation and will forge trusted working relationships with funders, partners and other stakeholders.

Location: Richmond (SW London) main offices: Hampton Hill & East Sheen. Flexible working is subject to negotiation

Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, plus 5% employer pension contribution

Hours: 35 per week

Contract: Permanent

You will have substantial experience leading an organisation or team in the voluntary, statutory or private sector and exceptional people management skills, including the ability to attract, develop and retain motivated staff and volunteers. You will have a track record of delivering multifaceted services to clients. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a track record of sound financial management and the ability to set organisational strategy and manage change. You will be committed to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service.
