Job description

Worcester Community Trust is looking for an inspirational Chief Executive Officer to develop and deliver their strategic vision and mission to bring communities together.

Worcester Community Trust is a local charity creating a big impact in Worcester. WCT manages six community hubs in the heart of neighbourhoods challenged by disadvantage and inequalities. They deliver a range of services that make a big difference to the daily lives of people in those communities.

The services aim to increase feelings of wellbeing, reduce loneliness and isolation, offer specialist support for survivors of domestic violence, support people into training, education and employment and work with people to deliver local services especially for young people, families and older people.

Job title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Salary: 50,000 + benefits 25 days leave plus bank holidays, matched pension contribution, life assurance, health care scheme.
Hours: Full time (37 hours a week). Some flexibility may be negotiated for the successful candidate.
Location: WCT Community Hubs

We are looking for a team player who earns the trust and respect of colleagues. A natural leader who is visible, has vision and enables others. You will need to be resilient, with drive and enthusiasm with an ability to build strong and trusted relationships.

Working with the Board of Trustees, you will:
lead the Charity whilst building and maintaining excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, role modelling WCT s values both internally and externally.
create a culture where best practice, good governance, relationships and development of staff and volunteers flourish.
develop and implement the strategic plan and associated strategies, ensuring alignment with the short, medium and long-term organisational objectives.
