Communications Assistant

Job description

Harris Hill is recruiting a Communications Assistant for 1 month, starting immediately with a national health charity. This is covering permanent recruitment period.

You will help support the smooth running of the communications team, assisting with brand, digital, PR, marketing, communications and administrative tasks, as required; to help further the team s aim of promoting and raising informed awareness of the cause.

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

Experience of planning and delivering projects
Experience of working with social media platforms
Experience of writing effective and engaging communications
Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
A good eye for detail and excellent proof-reading skills
Strong creativity and innovation skills
Good knowledge of current digital trends in the industry
Experience of Adobe InDesign packages (desirable)
Experience of working within a communications or marketing environment (desirable)
Good understanding of charity/third sector PR (desirable)
