Communications Manager (Campaigns)

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Communications Manager (Campaigns) for a homelessness charity in order to work with the Head of Communications and Engagement to develop and implement 3-year strategy through compelling communications, events, PR and digital comms. This will be a part-time role (2 days a week) contract role for approximately 10 weeks.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Develop a clear campaign plan (with KPIs) with bespoke communications to different sections of our audience
Brief and develop collateral for strategy launch including:
Round-up of our last strategic cycle and achievements to date
Impact infographic of 2017-2020 and 2019-2020
Collateral for launch incl.
- Strategy document
- Tailored comms to our different audiences
Campaign video
Develop and deliver a PR plan around the launch:
-Plan multi-channel and regional-specific PR for the launch
-Secure editorial in property and regional press in conjunction with PR agency
Deliver the strategy launch:
-Plan and deliver launch events tailored to different audience groups
-Plan and deliver social media campaign
-Plan and deliver mailing to supporters and wider industry

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Experience of delivering multi-channel communications campaigns
A proven track record of first-class project management and organisational skills, and the ability to manage workflows effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience of managing relationships with external agencies
Experience of producing multimedia content in conjunction with external agencies including photography and videos
Experience in organising and managing events.
Excellent copy writing skills and strong editorial capabilities
Ability to effectively engage with external stakeholders including corporate partners, senior leaders, charities, consultants and agencies
High levels of digital literacy
Strong attention to detail and good planning, organisational and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Excellent team player with a solution-focussed attitude and a hands-on approach
Experience of managing a diverse workload and of supporting colleagues
Desirable:
- Experience of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and PremierPro
- Knowledge of the property industry
- Experience of Agile project management
