Community and Events Assistant

Job description

An opportunity to work in a fantastic disability charity as a community and events assistant. You will be part of a team that will raise income for MS Society through community and events fundraising actives. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is interested in starting their career in fundraising. 


Roles and Responsibilities
-You will be giving project support to the Community and Events Team through various roles dealing with key events, assisting with the creation of generic fundraising materials, and day to day administrative tasks. 
-You will be help implementing the stewardship plans, providing fantastic supporter care.
-Liaise with third party suppliers to make sure relationships are built and maintained. 
-You will need to have fantastic relationship building skills to have effective relationships with supporters. This is demonstrated through excellent stewardship, account management and effective reporting.

Candidate Requirements
-The charity asks that you have strong interpersonal skills, and can communicate with a large range of people.
-You will need to have great experience of team work; able to demonstrate positive working relationships internally and externally.
-Superb organisational and workload management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
