Community & Regional Fundraising Manager

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a leading children s charity in their search for a Community and Regional Fundraising Manager.

This role is home-based or you can work from one of the newly set up hubs (locations across the UK).


As part of our Public Fundraising group, charity s Community and Regional Fundraising Team is responsible for engaging new and existing supporters to raise money, contribute to the charity or participate in fundraising activities in local communities and regions across the UK.
This is a relationship-based fundraising role, which requires the post-holder to manage a diverse portfolio and active external relationship pipeline alongside an internal network of key stakeholder groups to support the development of income in each area.


To apply you will need experience of:

Understanding of the operational management processes within an income generating environment, preferably within a charity.
Excellent understanding of the fundraising regulatory environment.
Expertise in advanced Microsoft Office functions, including in Excel and Power Point and Word.
Structured thinker able to breakdown complex problems and resolve them.
Excellent data/financial recording and reporting skills, including accuracy and attention to detail.
Developed an active fundraising network of audiences, e.g. groups, associations, business and individuals.
Detailed understanding of methods and channels for engaging multiple audiences and channels within the Community Groups setting.
Operated with insight relating to the Community Groups in the UK and a successful track record of deploying this in support of organisational FR aims.
Proven experience within a complex organisation or function, including working with stakeholders at differing and senior levels.
Experience leading a team in a busy environment, prioritising activities and conflicting objectives.
Designing, implementing and maintaining performance management frameworks, including defining and utilising KPIs to measure and improve effectiveness.
Experience in delivering excellent customer or supporter care.
