I am currently looking for a Community Engagement Project Manager for an amazing innovative environmental charity. This exciting 6 month FTC will see you managing multiple projects, playing a leading role in large urban areas, where the scale of demography and diversity require a specific focus to deliver the Trust's well-being mission to local communities.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the engagement field and will have the skills to manage senior level relationships with external partners within an urban environment. The core aspect of the role will be to develop relationships to deliver increased local engagement activity within the urban environment and local ownership.

Main duties:
Responsible for overseeing community engagement within the regions across urban centres.
Line management of funded roles for engagement within target areas.
Work with external partners at a senior level and internal colleagues to develop and deliver against the strategic programmes and targets.
Work with colleagues within the Region and nationally on the priorities for community engagement and build capacity across the region to increase the quantity, quality and diversity of our community engagement offer.
To coordinate activities and opportunities with enterprise managers to identify appropriate regional funding to deliver strategic programmes within the area.
Identify and develop strong working relationships with key partners across a range of organisations to ensure participants and beneficiaries are genuinely reflective of the local communities.
Lead national initiatives and partnerships as appropriate; sharing approaches across the 6 regions and with national teams to ensure quality and consistency.
Ensure that diversity and inclusion are integrated into all aspects of Trust life and promote inclusion by challenging behaviour, practices, actions, or decisions that are counter to the objectives of the Trust's policies and values.
To manage specific engagement projects, including budgets, and funded roles.
To lead on key event development and deliver within the given urban area.
