Corporate Relationships Officer

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Relationships Officer for cancer related charity in order to cover period of approximately 3 months.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Lead on the delivery of existing corporate partnerships up to a value of 30,000 per year.
Support the Corporate Relationships Manager on the delivery of partnerships above a value of 50,000 by providing copy for webpages, newsletters, account administration support and interacting with key individuals from our Partners.
Lead on the delivery of new business proposals up to value of 50,000 per year
Work with the Corporate Relationships Manager to create strategies for identifying and securing new high value, long term corporate partnerships
Lead on the research and generation of a strong prospect pipeline, ensuring that KPIs for identifying and approaching companies are met
Lead on the research, design and delivery of Corporate Partner events, including large scale events working with the Special Events Team.
Manage the Corporate Partnerships website pages to ensure they are continuously updated and reflect our current activity
Develop creative and targeted pitches, proposals and presentations
Work collaboratively across the charity to explore and exploit opportunities for corporate partners to help deliver our wider organisational strategy
Represent the charity at corporate events, networking effectively and establishing yourself with credibility and confidence
Contribute to the overall strategic development of the Corporate Team
Ensure our database, administration and other reporting systems are up-to-date and accurate

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Experience of corporate fundraising
Experience of creating compelling applications, with the ability to write and present to captivate and convince
A working knowledge of the principles of corporate partnerships with awareness and understanding of CSR environment and trends
Demonstrable experience of proactively building positive relationships with internal and external contacts
Strong interpersonal, networking and influencing skills
Event experience, either leading on or supporting the delivery of events
Excellent written and spoken English
Proficient in use of Windows-based software packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
