Data Analysis Manager

Job description

A fantastic International Campaigning Charity in London are looking to recruit a Data Analysis Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of data analysis, data selections and reporting to support the charity's campaigning, fundraising and communication objectives.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the range of analysis projects undertaken by the Data Analysis Team
Build relationships with colleagues throughout the charity and proactively work to identify and champion the ways in which data analysis could support their objectives and drive strategic decision making.
Manage the scheduling and prioritisation of the Data Analysis Team's workload, ensuring data selections, analysis and reporting are delivered on time, accurately and to agreed specifications.
Manage the team of Analysts to ensure that analytic findings and recommendations are communicated to stakeholders in a way which ensures they are understood and actioned.
Ensure the Data Analysis Team implements protocols governing the contact of supporters by mail, e-mail and telephone.
Work with the Data Operations Team and the Head of Data and Insight to identify and coordinate the database development needs of the Data Analysis Team, liaising with the IT team, Digital Team and/or external suppliers where appropriate.
Undertake any other relevant duties or projects delegated by the line manager, which are in line with the responsibilities of the post.
Person specification
Experience managing teams or individuals responsible for delivering data analysis Substantial experience of undertaking analysis and reporting of direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline
Experience of statistical analysis within a marketing environment
Experience working with relational databases and a range of data analysis tools and techniques
Ability to use MS SQL and MS Excel to an advanced level
Ability to use data visualisations tools, such as Power BI or similar
Understanding of the Data Protection Act / GDPR and all relevant legislation
