Temporary Data Compliance Administrator
Pay: £16 per hour
Duration: Approx. 2 weeks (immediate start)
Location: Remote – reliable internet connection required; one online meeting per week

We’re looking for a detail-driven administrator to support a short-term project preparing and redacting three Subject Access Requests (SARs) in line with our legal obligations. Working closely with the Communications Lead and Data Protection Officer, you’ll ensure all documents are accurate, secure, and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate updates between teams and the Data Protection Officer

  • Prepare, format, and proofread documents to meet legal requirements

  • Review SAR document sets to identify personal and sensitive information

  • Apply precise redactions to protect third-party data while preserving necessary content for the requester

  • Maintain secure audit trails of redaction decisions and communications

  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed by 12 September 2025

About you

  • Proven administrative and communication skills

  • Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively

  • Experience preparing/redacting SARs or similar compliance documents

  • Strong understanding of GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams/SharePoint, and professional redaction tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Pro)

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot indirect identifiers, metadata, and sensitive content

  • Discreet, professional, and highly organised

  • Onboarding and access provided as soon as possible

  • All tasks completed by 12 September 2025
