I am currently looking for a Raisers Edge Data Officer to join the Fundraising team at an innovative disability charity. This is an exciting time to be joining the Fundraising team as they are launching new strategies and data is the core of all of their activity!
Main duties:
Data selections - Proactively liaise with supporter facing teams to ensure clarity regarding upcoming selections and potential overlaps between audience groups
Working with customer teams, produce accurate inclusion queries to extract data
Understand and maintain accurate suppression queries
Manipulate data exports to ensure consistent formatting and structures
Perform quality control tasks on data selections
Understand the principles of safe data transfer and ensure any and all data transfers are made to the highest security standard possible

Data Quality - Identify inconsistencies in data and propose improved structures for implementation
Work with colleagues in the team to deliver improved schema
Ensure all set piece imports are delivered regularly to schedule
Substitute for the Database Manager in meetings and as the first point of contact as required.
Demonstrate strong communication skills with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority
Develop strong relationships with individuals across our Supporter Engagement directorate, which includes our fundraising, campaigning and communications teams.

User Support - Be a high-profile point of contact for user queries, resolving issues and maintaining database of FAQs and resolutions
Develop a training program for all database users to enable them to use the Raisers Edge database

Insight & Reporting - Run set queries in Raisers' Edge and SQL Management Studio which drive stock reporting
Identify areas for insight which are not currently being addressed
