A children's charity is looking for a Data Services Analyst. To deliver comprehensive data services (data selections, imports, training and support) according to agreed time, budget and specification to the satisfaction of internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Deliver on time and specification the selections for all outbound communications proactively offering advice to improve the selection criteria.
Deliver support and training for database users, ensuring that process documentation is maintained.
To be an advocate for using data and insights in a more strategic manner.
Work with internal clients to define the selection criteria for all outbound mass communications. Support stakeholders in improving selection requests, providing technical advice or guidance to yield enhanced results.
Import data from any external agencies and other internal data sources in a timely and accurate fashion.
Perform regular database maintenance tasks, taking a proactive approach to identify process improvements.
Person specification
Excellent data validation and manipulation techniques preferably using SQL tools and/or FastStats.
Highly numerate and ability to manipulate raw data
