Data Transformation Manager

Job description

A health charity are looking for a Data Transformation Manager. The role sits in with a Digital, Technology and Data Directorate but is an important cross-cutting enabling role. You will work to ensure outcomes are aligned with our vision and business strategy by delivering on business data process improvements. It will be your role to build and maintain motivated teams, making sure there is an iterative plan to work towards. The role has strategic importance for the organisation: to turn input from our business analysts into functioning technological solutions in support of our significantly evolving business process needs. Please note this role is FTC for 12 months. The candidate can be based in London or Chesterfield.

Key responsibilities
Deliver successful technologic transition from current architecture to future business models.
Enable improvements to business processes.
Be the key contact with internal & external key suppliers and support agencies to ensure smooth running of multiple projects.
Maintain and regularly update all documentation and reporting for all our Business & Data technology improvement projects.
Identify how to improve the in-house quality of data management outcomes, by documenting the progress of projects for key stakeholders and decision makers, as well as organising training and information sessions.

Person specification
Over five years' experience of delivering significant data transformation or emerging technology programmes or projects
Excellent understanding of the principles of Enterprise Information Management and CRM
Experience of solving issues and unblocking problems
Skilled in outcome focus.
Skilled in continuous planning, forecasting, estimating, uncertainty management, business metrics measurement, contingency planning and road-mapping.
Skilled in maintaining the cadence of delivery and managing the relationships with and between stakeholders
Knowledge of agile methodology and how to apply the agile mindset to all aspects of their work.
