Development Assistant

Job description

I am delighted to be working with an innovative independent charity in search of a Development Assistant. This unique 3-month FTC will see you provide support within the charity’s services. You will assist the Operations Coordinator (Development) and other members of the Commercial Development team with a range of activities, primarily relating to the delivery of a successful national programme.


Operations:
Order processing and fulfilment; customer service, including inbox management; invoice processing; new business generation, including the corporate sector and sales support.

Sales:
Act as the first point of contact for sales enquiries, providing additional information and quotations as required. This will include telephone handling and responding to email correspondence.
Work closely with the Business Development Coordinator, assisting as needed with account management and new business activity
Support the management of new and existing client accounts, including the creation and maintenance of accurate CRM database records
Support with the planning and delivery of outreach events, including bookings, preparation of materials, travel and logistics, and onsite presence
Conduct desktop research in support of our commercial and corporate new business development.
