Digital Communications Officer FT or PT

Job description

Harris Hill is working with a children's disability charity to help source an interim Digital Communications Officer for 6 months on a full or part time basis.

The main purpose of this role is to promote raise awareness, promote the services delivery and support fundraising through delivering a range of communications activity, including digital and printed communications.

Key Tasks and Main duties:
To manage the charity's social media activity, scheduling activity, and driving engagement
To lead on the content generation plan for social media and key communications, working closely with the services team, designing, editing and producing inspirational and engaging content.
To work with the Fundraising and Communications Director to develop and deliver key awareness campaigns, including concept development and paid-for social media.
To write, produce and distribute high quality e-communications for a range of external audiences, liaising with key internal contacts
To support in the production of key marketing and communications collateral, including branded materials and key publications
To implement changes to content on the charity's website, using the Content Management system Wordpress
To support the Fundraising and Communications Director with the website development project, as part of the internal project team working together with the external marketing agency
To deliver internal communications activity, with support from the Fundraising and Communications Director, and ensure the DigiBoards are updated.
To develop and manage the charity's case study, photo and video libraries, ensuring permissions are stored and updated
To produce monthly activity reports, collating data for KPIs
Ensure brand and tone of voice is delivered consistently through all communications
Ensure equality and diversity principles are embedded in all aspects of the service
To monitor social media and ensure good practice safeguarding principles are followed.

Experience
Experience of managing social media channels
Creating content for media.
E-comms including Dotmailer
Content creation including photography.
Writing for digital channels.
