Direct Marketing Donor Experience Manager

Job description

Leading health charity is seeking a Direct Marketing Donor Experience Manager to be responsible for the management and development of the Donor Experience strategy, programme and plans, maximising all opportunities to develop relationships with donors for longterm engagement and value and develop new innovative processes and products to help support the Direct Marketing team achieve income targets.

You will help develop strategic relationships with the current donor base and implement great donor experience and engagement journeys. You will develop and implement new products and processes using innovation cycles to improve supporter satisfaction and retention. To achieve this you will shape and deliver an exciting donor experience programme using content strategies, insight driven decision making and consent planning across an exciting multi-channel programme of campaigns, channels and audiences.

You will have:
- Substantial demonstrable fundraising experience in direct marketing, including donor relationship management, engagement, developing supporter journeys across acquisition and retention audiences.
- Project management experience including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a direct marketing or donor experience programme.
- Experience of planning, developing and managing budgets including forecasting, quarterly reforecasts, summarising and analysing, monitoring and regular reporting of outcome against target to senior teams.
- Experience of managing a team including supervisions, appraisals, delegating, supporting and developing.
