The Prince's Trust is a leading youth charity that believes every young person should have the chance to succeed regardless of their background. The Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives.

The Prince's Trust is in the middle of an ambitious five-year strategy that will increase their reach over the next decade. They plan to help one million more young people over the next ten years to help transform their lives. They will help them develop the confidence and skills to live, to learn, and to earn, giving them an increasing stake in our economy and society. 

To continue their path to reach as many young people as possible the Trust is now looking for an inspirational and passionate leader to join them in the capacity of Director of Fundraising on a permanent basis.

 





The Prince's Trust - Director of Fundraising

Location: One of the major Prince's Trust centres (London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle or Glasgow). Travel across the UK will be required.

Salary: £110,000 - £130,000 + Benefits

Contract: Permanent

The organisation's growth to date has been driven by their expertise in relationship fundraising with businesses, philanthropists and governments. Now, the Trust is keen to diversify their fundraising efforts and grow income from individuals that will create greater income stability and sustainability.

As Director of Fundraising you will lead the organisation in their part in the funding effort. You will need to be a visionary and tenacious leader, who can inspire a high performing fundraising function of 200 fundraisers, and ultimately champion all supporters across the organisation.

To be considered for this position you will have demonstrable experience of income generation, having made financial asks of £1m+ and held budget responsibility at c£30m+. In addition, you will have experience of long-term strategy development and significant experience of leading a function including remote management of teams and other stakeholders.
