This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading and well-respected charities. The Prince's Trust is a leading youth charity that believes every young person should have the chance to succeed regardless of their background. The Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives.

The Prince's Trust is at the start of an ambitious five-year strategy that will increase their reach over the next decade. They plan to help one million more young people over the next ten years to help transform their lives. They will help them develop the confidence and skills to live, to learn, and to earn, giving them an increasing stake in our economy and society.

To continue their path to reach as many young people as possible the Trust is now looking for an inspirational and passionate leader to join them in the capacity of Director of Philanthropy on a permanent basis.

The Prince's Trust - Director of Philanthropy

Location: A minimum of 2 days per week at the Head Office in London. Travel across the UK will be required.

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

Contract: Permanent

The Prince's Trust is seeking a dynamic leader to drive continued growth, innovation and impact across Philanthropic fundraising. They are looking for a Director of Philanthropy with confidence in driving a high-performing team, raising upwards of 20m a year, with a flair for exceptional relationship building. You will be passionate about the work of the Trust, a cause that has the potential to unlock the next generation of futures.

As Director of Philanthropy will inspire team members and senior influencers alike with an exciting strategy built upon sector-leading stewardship, innovative cultivation, and sharp attention to impact. You will provide support to a sophisticated team managing a host of successful collective giving groups, regional and capital campaigns and be a leading strategist in the design and execution of a newly emerging philanthropic campaign, poised to raise 100m over the next 5 years.

To be considered for this position you will have a track record of significant budgetary responsibility ( £5m+ income and £1m+ cost), as well as experience in successfully crafting and driving a high value Philanthropy Campaign (upwards of £50m), onboarding key stakeholders and managing an aligned Board. In addition, you will have experience of long-term strategy development and significant experience of leading a function including remote management of teams and other stakeholders.
