Education Policy and Advocacy Advisor

Job description

A major international gender equality and humanitarian NGO is looking for a Policy and Advocacy Advisor to lead its work on girls' education in emergencies.

Working as part of its high-impact Policy and Programmes Directorate, you'll have responsibility for developing and implementing education policy and advocacy strategies, working with influential partner organisations including the UK Government, UN Agencies and other I/NGOs. You'll also lead on producing innovative research reports, policy briefings and analysis for both internal and external audiences, ensuring that education is a core element of campaigning for gender equality.

As such, you'll have experience of working closely with high-level government and civil society stakeholders in both a relationship management and policy influencing capacity, along with excellent research and communication skills.
