A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Email Marketing Assistant for a not for profit membership organisation in order to build, schedule and report on email marketing campaigns.
This will be a temporary 3 months contract.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Writing email copy and proofing/amending emails created by other staff members
Using Messagefocus and other analytical tools to evaluate email performance and provide insights
Working closely with other team members to assure content is delivered on time and required amendments made
Database management
Contribute to the development of email marketing plans and strategies

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Experience in Email marketing role, building, scheduling and reporting on email marketing campaigns
Experience of using email marketing clients and CRM systems (Adestra and Salesforce are preferable)
Experience of A/B testing will be beneficial
Google Analytics experience
Email marketing planning skills, able to develop effective, timely plans that deliver to marketing objectives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write and proofread engaging, concise, accurate copy and content
Project management skills, with a track record of planning and delivering email marketing projects
Experience of effectively using website CMS
Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively and positively with others and to foster the development of a common vision
Dependable able to complete tasks to high standard and to deadline
Organisational skills - ability to work with minimum supervision, prioritise workload, and handle multiple tasks
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel and Databases
