Email Marketing Executive

Job description

An urgent opening for an experienced Email Marketing Exec has arose, within an international welfare charity in London.

 

The role is a 4 months FTC, starting immediately, ideally on a hybrid basis with 2dpw in the office. Salary stated is dependent on experience and ILW pay based on time in office. 

 

Responsibilities:
Coordinate our e-communications calendar, identifying potential scheduling conflicts and
strategic opportunities.
Delivering email marketing activities and executing plans for teams – including audience
selection and handling and management of audience lists, writing effective email marketing
copy, planning and running A/B tests and identifying suitable email marketing journeys. The role
holder must work collaboratively with teams to identify their goals and come up with effective
solutions.
Ensure emails are delivered on time, to a defined segmented audience, following email
best practice. Emails will achieve income, campaign action, traffic, and engagement targets.
The role holder will identify and successfully establish email marketing processes and best
practices using DotDigtial platform. The role holder will also be responsible for identifying email
marketing benchmarks and regularly reporting on email performance against these, presenting
results to key teams and stakeholders.

 

Essential experience:

Strong project management skills
Proven experience in working with a range of stakeholders to plan, build and deploy high performing
email marketing campaigns.
Proven experience in analysing and communicating email marketing results, and identifying
optimisation opportunities.
Experience in using email marketing platforms, like DotDigtial, to deliver results (min two years)
Skilled in writing effective digital marketing copy.
Working knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver, email broadcast software and Google Analytics.
Excellent working knowledge of GDPR and data protection regulations and experience in
handling data files. A commitment to ongoing training and learning in these areas.
A good understanding of the marketing funnel, digital targeting tactics and digital attribution.
Good time management and organisational skills
