An educational charity are looking for an Employer Relationship Manager to be the face/representative of the charity's STEM skills Partnership programme in the Midlands.

You will be responsible for growing the membership of the programme, initially taking those employers already committed to school engagement activities through a step by step programme that will enhance their existing activities and further increase their reach, helping to increase their return on investment.

This is a home-based role with regular travel around the Midlands and can be quite flexible where you are based.

 
Key Responsibilities:
-Establishing, facilitating and maintaining a network of employer members to engage with local schools across the Midlands as part of the Skills Partnership programme.
-To lead the network and drive a change in school engagement culture
Increasing the reach and improving the overall quality of learner engagements
-Working collaboratively with the local STEM community, skills boards and local authorities to establish a knowledge hub where effective practice, resources and information can be shared across the Programme.
-Identifying opportunities for further growth, collaboration, knowledge-sharing and programme development to support the overall achievement of programme objectives.
-Encourage the use of the charity's careers materials
-To increase the desirability of a career in STEM


Skills and Experience required:
-Strong business development experience
-Demonstrable experience of relationship development and management at all levels
-Influencing the buyer
-Effective planning and management of resources
-Experience of successful partnership work with industry and external agencies
-Territory management experience
-Understanding of operational management
-Excellent presentation skills and confidence to present to all levels of management
-Ability to work in multi-disciplined / cross-functional teams
-IT literate MS Office, CRM systems and databases
-Report writing experience
