Events Manager - Homebased working available


Maternity Cover Contract/Part time/4 days PW


I am delighted to be working with a leading children's charity, who has a requirement for an Events Manager join them to cover a period of maternity leave.


As Events Manager you will, lead, develop, and implement Event activities, for both Challenge and Virtual Events in order to maximise income, support and awareness of the charity through the implementation of a strategic approach and optimum use of diverse resources.


To be considered for this exciting role, you will need to have:


Demonstrable experience of delivering and marketing events
Experience of establishing, managing and evaluating new fundraising events to generate growth
Experience in developing, implementing and managing project plans and achieving targets, both financial and non-financial.
Experience of establishing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across functions
Monitoring and reporting against activity and financial targets
Understanding of the Fundraising regulator and IOF codes of practice and an understanding of charity law and how it affects fundraising
Understanding of fundraising and volunteer rules and regulations
Understanding of equalities and diversity and how it affects this position, the organisation and supporters
