Events Fundraising Officer

A national disability/neurodivergence charity are in search of an Events Fundraising Officer to lead on the delivery of a number of events from the charity’s varied and exciting portfolio. Harris Hill are delighted to assist them with their search.

If you’re an experienced events or fundraising professional who is forward-thinking, creative, and dedicated to improving lives and shifting attitudes and perceptions, then we want to hear from you!

In this role, you will take responsibility of a number of fundraising events (third party and owned) from start to finish – conducting the initial research, planning, participant recruitment, delivery and evaluation. You will work closely with your colleagues across the organisation, particularly those in the marketing, press and PR departments, to ensure that all your events are as well-publicised and engaging as possible. You will use your creativity and exceptional relationship building skills to engage and inspire a large number of supporters, both old and new, and in turn maximise income generation for the charity.

This organisation particularly welcomes applications from neurodivergent candidates, and other underrepresented minorities from all backgrounds.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • Previous demonstrable experience of planning, monitoring and delivering events, ideally within a charity or fundraising context.

  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders.

  • Database and administrative skills (Raiser’s Edge experience would be ideal).

  • A passion for the cause!

Salary: £24,500 p.a.

Location: hybrid, London – 2 days per week in office. Some overnight stays and national travel required due to event portfolio.
