Events Manager - Mass Events

Job description

Harris Hill is urgently seeing an Events Manager within Mass Events experience to support a high profile charity for 3 months.

The Mass Events Team design and execute a broad and diverse portfolio of events on behalf of the organisation. Such events bringing vital income, profile and supporters to the charity.

Alongside the Head of Events, deliver a portfolio of sector leading mass fundraising events.
Project manage all aspects of event delivery venue, suppliers, invoicing and financial reporting, health and safety and broader event compliance. Proactively seek opportunities to innovate and further evolve event portfolio, especially through reputable third party and supporter led income generating activity.
Effectively lead and manager volunteer committees and external stakeholders to deliver successful and compliant events, inspiring a deep connection to the cause.
Work closely with Individual Giving, Comms, Marketing, and wider fundraising to drive acquisition and exceptional stewardship for lifelong supporters.
Work closely with our programme colleagues to build a strong connection to our young people and programmes to effectively, sensitively and impactfully share their inspiring stories .
Set and maintain strong standards of data capture and management, through our database Raisers Edge.
Manage all aspects of event finances- projecting accurate income and expenditure against budget.
Deliver events in accordance with ethical, legal, trading, governance, insurance and Fundraising Code of Practice requirements.
Support a culture of fundraising and inclusion across the organisation through engagement with our mass events portfolio, across colleagues, volunteers and boards..

The client would ideally like to find someone with fundraising events experience however, this is not essential.
