Fellowship Coordinator

Job description

Job Role : Fellowship Coordinator

Salary:£37,000

Location: London

The Charity
A well-established charity that supports activists, storytellers and lawyers that are working to bring about social and economic justice: human rights for all. This charity provides administrative and philanthropic advisory services to the Foundation. All their work includes networking for solidarity, collaboration, learning, and exchange. The Justice Initiative Fellowship program focuses training emerging social justice and movement lawyers through two-year Fellowships hosted by Justice Partners.

The Role
We are looking for a dynamic Fellowship Coordinator who is comfortable working with highly politicised fellows and partner organisations; has experience developing programming for and with diverse groups; and has excellent organizing and administrative experience and skills. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a balance between relationship management and project management skills. The Fellowship coordinator will have the ability to embrace feedback and the confidence to "fail fast" to aid the evolution of the program and overall work of the Foundation.

The Fellowship Coordinator will be responsible for fellowship onboarding, giving ongoing support to fellows from around the world with various economic, social and technological challenges, support grantmaking and monitoring and evaluation, and proven logistical ability to plan and coordinate fellowship events (virtual and in-person). This position will be involved in cross-organisational communications projects and supporting the grants management systems. Attention to detail and the skill to move between a range of tasks requiring differing skills are crucial. The program is evolving so an ability to work through change processes is essential.
