Finance & Membership Assistant (Part-time)

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fabulous children’s charity in their search for a Finance and Membership Assistant. This is a 22 hour a week, 12 month fixed term contract.

If you have experience maintaining accurate data in membership database, issuing membership invoices and credit control then this role could be perfect for you.

Responsibilities

  • To maintain accurate data in membership database including updating membership details
  • To raise relevant, accurate membership invoices for of income for £2.4M on a timely basis
  • To follow up with overdue invoices including sending reminder emails and arranging phone calls
  • To post bank payments into membership database system

Skills and experience

  • Experience in using CRM database systems preferably Integra
  • Experience in working as an accounting assistant
  • Experience of successful debt collection
  • Experience of invoicing, processing payments and maintaining financial data
  • Ability to work independently and in the absence of senior staff. Recognise when to seek help and to take direction when required

Salary

£17,822.51 ( FTE £29,164.11)

Hourly rate between £14-£15

Annual Leave

25 Days pro rata plus 5 Fostering Network days pro rata

Probationary period

6 calendar months.

Notice period

4  working weeks

One week during probationary period.

Hours of work

22 Hours

Pension

Employee contribution is 3% of gross annual salary

Employer contribution is 5% of gross salary.
