Finance Assistant

Harris Hill are proud to be working with an international organisation who is looking for an passionate and conscientious Finance Assistant who will support the team in all administrative aspects of the organisation's financial processes.

The purpose of the role is to:
Support the finance team with all accounts payable processes
Preparation and posting of income and expenditure into the accounting system
Taking control of the electronic filing systems
Giving administrative support

This role will allow you to integrate with many of the teams across the organisation. This is why this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. You need an outgoing personality because you will be swapping information and resolving queries with your non-finance colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of administrative duties and be familiar with using an accounts system to process financial information. You should be an intermediate to advance Excel user with good computer and numeracy skills. A keen attention to detail is a must.

Knowledge:
Knowledge of using an accounting or book-keeping system.
Having a second language (French, Spanish or Russian) would be an advantage but is not required.

Experience:
Experience of undertaking a range of admin and financial duties including processing financial transactions and exporting financial information into other software.
Strong computer skills (intermediate to advance Excel).
Experience of professionally handling visitors as well as responding to telephone and email enquiries.
Experience of handling confidential and sensitive information.
