Finance Manager

Job description

Harris Hill are currently working with a great charity based in Manchester to help secure a Finance Manager on a 6 month FTC, paying 30k per annum. The purpose of the role is to ensure the finances and assets of the organisation are managed effectively.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

To lead on setting of budgets and monitor spend against agreed budgets
To develop, implement, monitor and review financial procedures and systems
To oversee legal compliance and preparation of accounts, audits and returns
To produce cash flow forecasts, management accounts and financial reports to the Chief Executive

The key skills and experiences include:

Fully or part-qualified member of a major accountancy body
Experience of running the Finance operation of a SME charity
Detailed knowledge of the charity SORP (statement of Recommended Practice)
Charity sector experience would be an advantage
