Job description

Harris Hill is working in partnership with a leading youth charity to find a temporary Finance Manager on a 4-8 week basis. This 3 day per week position offers flexible working but you will need to be based in the South West for ease of access to the office when required.

They require a finance manager to support the CEO and their outsourced accountancy team to ensure the finances of the charity are tightly managed, that they have effective and efficient financial processes and procedures in place and to ensure suppliers are paid promptly. You will be required to provide quality and timely financial information to the staff team, committees, and their Board as well as ensuring all the financial and compliance requirements are met.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified AAT or equivalent
  • Significant experience in a similar role in the charity sector
  • Able to interpret financial information contained within financial statements and reports
  • Able to establish and maintain effective management information systems
