Finance Manager (Part-time)

We are looking for a sharp part-time Finance Manager who is passionate about delivering education services to young people and wants to join this growing, forward thinking charity.

We would love you to apply if you have:
- experience working in the accounts team of a recognised UK charity
- a professional accounting qualification eg. ACA/ACCA/CCAB (AAT will be considered based on relevant experience)
- experience of using financial software effectively
- strong experience in a financial management / accounting role
- experience of charity reporting including SORP compliance preparation
- produced financial reports and management accounts
- prepared statutory accounts
- managed staff and budgets
- first-hand experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting
- been looking for a part-time flexible working arrangement

Skills, Abilities & knowledge includes:
- Strong communications skills (oral, written and presentation)
- Methodical and accurate approach to work
- A flexible thinker, able to move freely between conceptual and detailed issues
- Ability to analyse complex issues effectively and produce practical solutions
- Used to providing accurate and timely information to a high standard
- Ability to manage a demanding workload
- Comfortable working with and devising systems and advanced knowledge and competency in computerised accounting packages including Xero (desirable) and Excel (essential)

This role is a temp2perm contract however if you display all of the required attributes at interview stage they will consider an immediate permanent contract.
