I am currently looking for a part time (3 day week) experienced Finance Officer for a rapidly growing membership organisation. You will be part (AAT, CIMA, ACCA) qualified with knowledge of Quickbooks reporting with a great attention to detail as we are looking for someone to hit the ground running!
Process receipts (cash, cheque, online and BACS)
Process payments (invoices, expenses, credit cards)
Monitor debtors and creditors and ensure payments are made on timely basis
Manage the fortnightly payment run and prepare online payments for approval
Ensure the posting of all bank transactions
Reconcile the main bank account on a monthly basis and a periodic reconciliation of other bank accounts
Regular monitoring of cash balances and input petty cash and expense claims
Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
Work collaboratively with departmental budget holders to ensure accurate income and expenditure monitoring and that spending is within annual budgets
Produce regular financial & Quickbook reports for the CEO, SLT and Board as necessary
Manage the financial aspects of tenancy agreements, including managing deposits, invoicing and rental increases.
Ensure all donations are accurately recorded and reconciled in the accounting records and that any restrictions are monitored appropriately
Liaise with the events teams around invoicing, receipts and payments for event
Essential skills and experience
At least 1 years' experience in a similar finance role
A part qualified accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA)
Knowledge of Quick Books Online accounting software & reporting
