Your new role

As the Finance Officer you will supporting on a range of tasks from purchase and sales ledger responsibilities to income accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.              

You will be Working with Finance accountant to prepare accruals and prepayment schedules, taking responsibility for the processing of bank transactions across multiple accounts and the preparation of regular bank reconciliations. You will also maintain the purchase ledger which will include processing purchase invoices, preparing payments runs and assisting with the purchase order system.

What you’ll need to succeed 

To be successful you will need previous experience working in a similar role within the charity sector with a focus on purchase ledger function and related tasks. You will also need a working knowledge of Excel (Intermediate level minimum). You will also need string communication skills and a willingness to take responsibility for all areas of your work as well as strong attention to detail.

This organisation offers remote working, a salary up to 28k and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
