Finance Officer - (maternity cover)

Salary: £28,305 pro-rata (£22,644 per annum) based on 28 hours a week.

Contract: the role covers up to one year of maternity leave (contract length depends on existing post-holder).

Harris Hill are working with a UK based charity who require a part-time finance officer to cover a member of staff on maternity leave.
This is a great opportunity to work in a vibrant and innovative organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in a small finance team, which is closely integrated with the rest of the charity.

The role has responsibility for maintaining accurate records for income, expenditure and bank balances, for the charity and its subsidiary companies by following established procedures and working closely with the Finance Manager.

Experience in financial administration or bookkeeping is essential along with good time management and communication skills and the ability to provide accurate and timely information to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will also be studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
