Fundraiser (part-time)

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a part-time Fundraiser for an international charity serving poor and marginalised communities in Southern India. This is an exciting role in a small but growing charity with the opportunity to visit India.

Location: home based, UK
Contract type: 1 year contract, more likely to be extended. 2-3 days a week

Salary: 26,000 - 30,000 per annum, pro rata

Deadline: 1st November at 8am


Key responsibilities:

To develop a fundraising strategy for the charity
To raise the profile of the Jawadhi Hills with the relevant funders, with emphasis on their plight due to COVID 19 and to develop a campaign around this project
To fundraise, raising between 50,000 and 100,000 in the first year
To develop donor relationships
Managing the funds, monitoring income & expenditure
Public speaking to organisations likely to provide funding
Out of hours work may be needed to raise the profile of projects
Any other reasonable duties as directed by project supervisor or line manager

Experience of fundraising in the UK
Ability to speak in public
Social media experience
Enthusiastic
Ability to work well with people
Willingness to uphold and promote our Christian vision and values
