Fundraising and Digital Marketing Lead

A great opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising and Digital Marketing Lead for humanitarian related charity in order to grow and develop the charity supporter database and engagement on email and social media channels, and assure the very best levels of fundraising performance. Assisting the team with website updates. Driving individual giving through different online and offline marketing practices. This will be a temporary role for up to 6 months and could go permanent.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Develop, maintain and promote fundraising content on web, email and social media channels - Facebook ads, Google AdWord, other third-party websites
Work with our digital agency in devising a digital strategy, which demonstrably improves audience engagement with our platforms
Use specialist knowledge to identify opportunities in digital media marketing and advise the organisation on the most effective ways of communicating our work
Responsible for project management on digital campaigns and petitions for advocacy, fundraising, or building the brand of the charity.
Managing budget for digital projects and paid-for advertising
Manage our social media platforms. Work with the communications and other relevant teams to deliver key messages to our followers.
Report on key social media metrics - post engagement, follower growth etc. and make recommendations to optimise the charity audience engagement and growth
Manage our digital agency to implement and monitor campaigns and achieve website engagement KPIs within budget
Engage with our social media community - respond to enquiries and comments
Work the broader team in making sure that the website is up to date with key messages and content to suit the wider organisation s objectives
Report on key website metrics, to identify trends and insights
Work with the communications team in making sure that all content is optimised for SEO
Manage all website enquiries
Manage projects which, with the Database Coordinator and Fundraising Managers ensure websites, third party tools and databases (Raisers Edge, Engaging Networks etc) work effectively together

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Good fundraising/ digital experience,
Experience of working with content management systems, with some experience of developing/ managing a website
Engage with the audiences and influencers so they become aware of and engage with the charity work.
Grow website and social media audiences.
Manage a complex and varied workload, prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
Analyse and report on complex data, including the ability to analyse and monitor campaign results.
SEO, Google Adwords and working with a CMS.
Web languages such as Wordpress, Drupal, HTML/xHTML, CSS (desirable)
Fundraising, including CRM databases and data selection and segmentation techniques (desirable)
French language (desirable)
