Fundraising Coordinator

Harris Hill are thrilled to be working with the fantastic international development charity Hand in Hand International. You will be joining their award-winning fundraising team as their Fundraising Coordinator.

Hand in Hand International is a member of the Hand in Hand Network, a global group of NGOs that has worked in 14 countries and counting. Their goal is to eradicate poverty in the communities where they work. Where others see poverty, Hand in Hand sees grassroots entrepreneurs, full of energy and ideas. They help turn their skills and potential into jobs.

With this role you will have the opportunity to gain experience of a range of disciplines. Your key focus will be on identifying, creating relationships with and securing donations from corporate partners of Hand in Hand, but you will be supporting across the team too.

You need to be a superb writer, and love building relationships with partners and donors alike as you will have your own portfolio of donors and prospects. You will also identify new prospects with focus on corporates and foundations. You need to be comfortable talking to groups and individuals at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have experience of corporate, trusts and foundations, or major donor fundraising. However, candidates with demonstrable experience of sales and account management will also be considered.

This role has the potential for travel too, as well the oppertunity for working from home on Fridays.
