Global Communications Manager

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with an impactful international development organisation in their search for a Global Communications Manager.

As Global Communications Manager you will develop the organisations content and communications strategy, drawing on previous international communications experience to adapt your approach to differing contexts and cultures.

As a communications generalist you will manage exciting international campaigns, create compelling and engaging content and drive PR and advocacy efforts on behalf of the organisation.

A strong leader, you will support international communications colleagues to ensure consistency in tone, messaging and best practice to ensure the success of the global team.  

You will work cross divisionally to ensure comms efforts propel organisation wide objectives, supporting departments such as fundraising to ensure maximum impact.

This international organisation provides vulnerable families with emergency relief, and work to strengthen local communities by promoting child welfare and supporting sustainable livelihoods. Working in 16 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, They support communities during crises, and works to improve their long-term resilience so that they can support themselves independently, with dignity. Their projects also aim to develop long-term access to education and clean water, as well as improving sanitary facilities and hygiene practices.

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

-        Solid senior communications experience

-        Experience of developing and delivering communications strategy

-        Excellent project management experience

-        International experience / experience working in a globally dispersed team

-        Ability to write compelling content and engaging stories to appeal to multiple audiences

Location – London (Hybrid working)

Contract – 1 Year FTC (With Possibility to extend)

Salary - £35,000 - £40,000
