Finance Director

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an inspiring children's disability charity in Brentwood, Essex.

SNAP supports Essex families who have children, aged 0-25, with any special need or disability. SNAP aims to inform, encourage and support parents so that they can grow in strength and knowledge and become better equipped to give the best possible help to their children. Over the past 27 years, the charity has gained an in-depth understanding of the everyday demands of supporting a child with an additional need or disability. At the heart of their work, they aim to help and empower the whole family, enabling them to meet the challenges they face.

As a result, SNAP have developed a variety of services in response to the needs of Essex families and are ideally placed to offer these to families working from their resource centre in Brentwood, Essex. SNAP are very proud of their ability to adapt and during these uncertain times has found ways to remain a key point of contact and support for families. The switch to remote working enabled SNAP to be there for their families; at the end of the phone and via zoom when they were unable to invite them to the Centre. All of which have been so successful they will be part of their business plan moving forwards
